Here’s one more reason to be jealous of the beautiful Selena Gomez! MTV just officially announced The 19-year-old is set to host the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The singer/actress is totally psyched to host the ceremony that taking place in Belfast, Ireland. She said:
“I’m so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs – it’s a dream come true. This is such a huge event that always recognises the biggest stars in music from across the globe, so it’s a real honour to be MC at this year’s show.”
The top nominees include Lady Gaga with six nominations, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars have four nods a piece. Adele, Selena’s BF Justin Bieber and Thirty Seconds to Mars are up for three awards each.
Selena is also nominated for the “Biggest Fans” category. However, with all those hating Bieblivers around, we think her chances are slim.

The 2011 MTV EMAs will air live November 6 and will air at MTV from 9pm.
