Poor Justin Bieber. All that’s left for him to do is to sing a sad, sad serenade for Selena Gomez. If only he had seen her true worth. Well, as we always say, girls, regret comes last.
In an interview with Billboard music magazine, Justin (finally) opened up about the breakup and admitted that he’s been leaning on his friends’ shoulders for support as he goes through the heartache. Though, he didn’t tell what really caused Selena to make it over for good.
“I’m not in the happiest place that I’ve ever been. I’m trying to get through what I’m going through. I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going,” he said.
He added, “There’s so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won’t pick up the phone or I’m chasing her down, and these are all fake stories. I don’t go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely.”
He also revealed in the interview that he wrote a song for their now-failed relationship, titled “Nothing Like Us.” Here’s some of its lyrics:
I wish that I could give you what you deserve//Cause nothing can ever, ever replace you//Nothing can make me feel like you do, yeah//You know there’s no one I can relate to//I know we won’t find a love that’s so true
He explained, “At the end of the day, there’s nothing like us, you know? That’s just it. It is what it is. People are going to relate to that.”
Looking into the future, Bieber hopes to become a better person. ““I don’t have any regrets. I live and learn. My mom says, ‘You got to learn the hard way, don’t you?’ That’s me. I learn the hard way. But it’s about how I pick myself up and be better and stronger.”
Let’s hope this guy will heal soon, just as Selena did.
